WEST Surrey Health Authority will be asked to spell out the consequences for health services in South West Surrey if plans to close all 29 beds at Haslemere Hospital are not carried out.

South West Community Health Council, the independent health watchdog charged with representing the interests of the public in local NHS services, is carrying out its own consultation to gain a better understanding of public views on the authority's controversial changes to services.
