ANTIQUES and canapes are on the top of the agenda for a special event in aid of a worthy cause, on Saturday, October 31.

Taking place in St Christopher’s Church, Haslemere, the evening is presented by Fund Raising for Outward Giving (FROG). The event is being run in association by Fernhurst-based John Nicholson’s Fine, Art Auctioneers and Valuers.

Doors open at 6.45 pm for those with an item to be considered for valuation. The evening starts at 7.30pm with an introduction into the world of antiques by fine art and antique valuer, Edwyn Pym.

Tickets priced at £15 include a drink on arrival, canapes and the valuation of one item are available on on the door, or by calling th eparish office on (01428) 644578.
