LONG-running plans to build a skatepark in Liss could take a massive hit next week if a controversial motion is approved.
Liss Parish Council received a £40,000 pot of developers' funds from East Hampshire District Council in September 2008 to build a skatepark in the village.
Now, Liss Parish Council wants to add the money to the six-figure cost of building a new pavilion next to Station Road recreation ground.
The motion to use developers' funds on the West Liss Pavilion Project should be debated at next Monday's parish council meeting.
Approval could effectively kill off the skatepark project, which has divided villagers since first being touted nearly a decade ago.
