A HASLEMERE bus service vital to patients could be axed by Surrey County Council's decision-making Cabinet next week.
The eagerly awaited report on the outcome of the Surrey Bus Review for Waverley and Guildford, which proposed major cutbacks in order to save £2.5m, has just been published on the county council website and its recommendations will be considered by Cabinet, on Tuesday.
If the changes are approved they will save the council £723,000 per year in subsidy costs and are due to be implemented on September 2.
