BRIGHTWELL Tennis Club hosted the inaugural School Doubles Cup which gave children from local secondary schools the chance to compete against each other in a tournament setting.

Thirty six players from All Hallows, Weydon, Salesian, St Nicholas and Court Moor took part in some close matches.

St Nicholas were triumphant in the year nine and 10 tournament with Weydon second and All Hallows third. In the year seven and eight event Salesian were the winners with All Hallows second and Weydon third.

When all the results were collated Weydon came out as the overall winners.
