A 29-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving two cars in Grayshott on Saturday afternoon.
Hampshire Police said the accident involved a Land Rover and a Ford Focus
An air ambulance was called after the incident near the village hall, at the Headley Road and Hurstmere Close junction, at around 3.40pm but was not used to ferry the cyclist to hospital.
A South East Coast ambulance spokesman said: “The cyclist suffered injuries including a head injury.”
After being treated at the scene he was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford accompanied by the air ambulance paramedics
Police closed off Headley Road for several hours while accident investigators photographed debris and road marks.
