POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Farnham on Wednesday.

The incident took place around 8.45pm on the A31 Farnham bypass at Hickleys Corner.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with minor injuries but the driver of the car failed to stop and drove off toward the Shepherd and Flock roundabout.

Surrey Police is appealing to anyone that saw the incident or the events leading up to it to call 101 quoting reference P15248326. In particular, they would like to hear from the two female motorists who stopped to assist the rider.
