TRELOAR School and College still has places available for this year’s London Marathon.
Held on April 24, the annual trek through the streets of the nation’s capital will provide an opportunity for anyone wanting an active and healthy goal to help disabled young people in the process.
In return for a place, Treloar’s is asking participants to raise £2,000 minimum sponsorship.
According to Treloar marketing and communications officer Carolyn Warne, the money raised will be used to provide students with “life-enhancing skills and equipment that unlocks their potential and gives them a chance at a more independent life”.
Potential runners should e-mail Claire Kercher on [email protected] or call 01420 547469.
In return, Treloar will support runners with a fundraising pack, a personalised Team Treloar running vest, training tips, and visits to the campus in Holybourne to see how the money makes a difference.
