POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run-incident, in which a seven-year-old Farnham boy received minor injuries after being knocked off his bike.
The child described the vehicle that struck him in Old Frensham Road as being a red jeep.
The boy, who did not require hospital treatment, was found lying in the road.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 15, near Gong-Hill Drive at around 3.50 pm.
The vehicle involved was then seen by a witness driving off in the direction of Tilford.
A police spokesperson said that they were anxious to trace the owner of the vehicle. At the time of day the incident happened, there would probably have been a number of people who may have seen it.
