A STORM of planning applications looks set to delay the Neighbourhood Plan. The decision comes as large development proposals fight for priority determination in the bid to secure a piece of the 700 greenfield allocation put forward in East Hampshire's Joint Core Strategy for Alton. According to the Neighbourhood Plan steering group chairman, Mike Heelis there are planning applications lodged with East Hampshire District Council for around 530 new homes on the Alton Treloars and Borovere Farm sites (South Alton Plan); for 200 dwellings at Will Hall Farm; and 274 houses at Cadnams Farm. Others are expected to be submitted soon. For full story, see this week's Alton Herald.
