THE Farnham Institute Charity is encouraging small charities and charitable organisations in Farnham to apply for their share of a £30,000 grants pot before it’s too late.

Each year the institute’s trustees pay grants - in effect the rent from its building in South Street - to any charitable purpose for the general benefit of the people of Farnham and the neighbourhood.

However, for unknown reasons there has been a shortage of applications this year and £30,000 is still up for grabs before the end of the institute’s financial year this September.

Anyone interested in applying can email Meg Daniels at [email protected] or write to the Farnham Institute Charity, 76 Firgrove Hill, Farnham, GU9 8LW.
