THE impact on the town when the Army leaves in 2015 was spelt out by Bordon's Garrison Commander at the annual meeting of Whitehill Town Council.

As guest speaker at the meeting at the Forest Community Centre last Wednesday, Colonel David Ansell confirmed that the move would start in the summer of 2015, "although a lot of people don't believe we are going".

He added: "We should all be gone by December (2015)."
