AN array of brightly coloured ‘animals’ made their way to Frensham fayre last Saturday to join the carnival atmosphere of the parade, led by Paddington the marmalade-loving bear in a vintage car.
This year’s theme was ‘all around the world’, celebrating the diversity and colour of global events and cultures. New activities for 2018 included the children’s soft play and sumo wrestling.
Ian Trueman, director of sponsore Trueman & Grundy estate agents, said: “We saw some mighty rikishi wrestling their challengers and some not so mighty rolling around on the ground like a giant beach ball! It was so much fun, we’re going to do it all again next year.”
Other fayre backers were Lucas Grant Kitchens, Bush Baby Travel, Surrey & Hants Trees, Trueman & Grundy, Kumon, Mercedes Benz, and Beacon Hill Garage.
The fayre committee would also like to give special thanks to C&S Sports, The Hollybush, Stagecoach, The Fox, and Gal & Fellow.
