A LARGE commercial wheelie bin was destroyed in the latest arson incident in Liss at the weekend and police are once again appealing for information to help their enquiries.
The large blue bin was standing at the rear of One Stop in the centre of Liss when it was set on fire between 10-30 and 11 on Saturday evening.
The fire destroyed the bin and, because it was close to the back of the shops, there was also damage to the rear wall of One Stop.
This is the latest in a number of fires deliberately started in the village over recent months where property has either been damaged or destroyed.
Anyone with information can call in confidence at any time on the Crime Stoppers Line, 0800 555 111, or a message can be left for the Liss beat officer, Pc Brad Woollerson, on 0845 045 45 45, asking for Petersfield police station.
