Monsieur Monet himself (the Friends’ own Gilly Stewart) will be on hand to advise and help young artists as they paint their canvases.
The art sessions will be one-and-a-half to two hours long and will start at 10am and 2pm and are open to children aged four to 12 years.
There will be continental pastries available at half time and also a little French conversation to encourage the children to enter into the cafe atmosphere.
Numbers are limited to only 12 children each session and tickets priced at £10 each are on sale at the reception desk at the library.
