A NEW venture to serve an opening in the market for niche film lovers in the Alton and Farnham area launches on Saturday with a screening of Some Like it Hot.

Experience Film is the second incarnation the Alton Cinema Project – a voluntary group formed in response to the news that The Palace Cinema in Alton was up for sale, and the possibility of Alton losing its only cinema.
