LIPHOOK Artisan Market has changed its name to Liphook Village Market to provide a better identification with the village.
Committee chairman David Tull said: “Despite the change of name the market will still maintain its original ethos as an outlet for makers and crafters to offer their quality hand made goods and home-baked fayre for sale.
“Our fruit and vegetable supplier whose market fresh produce has proved popular with visitors will also be in attendance during 2016.
“At our first market of the year on Saturday, February 20, we hope to have representatives from Liphook Day Centre with us, who will be running a tombola to raise funds for the day centre.”
During 2016, markets will once again be held at the Millennium Centre, in Canada Way, between 10am and 2pm on the following Saturdays: February 20, March 12, April 9, May 21, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10. The Christmas Market will be held on November 26, between 10am and 4pm.
