A WIRE sculpture artist is set to host an exhibition of his work this weekend.

As well as fronting the exhibition, Roger Russell will demonstrate how he makes the sculptures and giving attendees the chance to try soldering and wire forming.

Guests can also sign up for a five-week course in wire sculpture during Saturday’s event at Whitehill Village Hall, which runs from 10am until 3pm.

Roger plans to teach people the “practical dexterity skills needed to wire sculpture”, as well as soldering, brazing and welding skills.
