DAVID and Lynn Paynter will be staging their annual Art & Soul exhibition at their beautiful gardens and woodland at Whitehanger on Marley Common near Haslemere in June.

Around 100 pieces of art – sculptures and paintings – from 21 artists will be on show and for sale. The setting is very special – six acres of contemporary gardens, including a woodland walk, make for a peaceful and deeply refreshing experience according to past visitors.

Apart from David Paynter’s own sculptures and life drawings, this year’s works include large metal pieces by Gary Boulton, Simon Probyn and Richard Cresswell, Paul Harvey’s unmistakable birds, animals by Marie Ackers, Carol Orwin, Stavros Kotsireas, Suzie Marsh and Gemma Wootton, elegant human figures by Sara Ingleby-Mackenzie, Robert Truscott, Michael Crook and Jonathan Hateley, and glass work by Jane Bohane and Geraldine Mcloughlin.

There will also be accomplished paintings in all styles and media from Glenn Phur, Debra Sweeny, Liz Crawford, Jackie Rennie, Nic Cowper, Lynn Fitzwalters and Yeside Linney.

Art & Soul runs from June 11 to 26 in conjunction with Surrey Artists Open Studios. The exhibition is open from 11am until 5pm on June 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26.

All profits from Art & Soul this year will be donated to two local wildlife trusts and Macmillan. More details and invitations to the exhibition can be found on the website at www.theartfulgallery.co.uk
