A FULL anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) has been granted against Scott Searle,18, from Haslemere An interim order was initially given following a hearing at South West Surrey Magistrates' Court on December 1. A full order was granted by magistrates on January 15. The application was made by Surrey Police in partnership with South West Trains and the local community. The conditions of the three-year order prohibit Searle from: • Entering areas of Haslemere at any time which includes: the railway station forecourt, newsagents, car park and railway lines in Lower Street; shops, premises and land on the north side of Wey Hill, Weysprings, St Christopher's Green and Lion Green. To the south of the town, the Haslewey Centre, the Locality Centre, Tesco supermarket, adjoining car parks and premises/shops on the south side of Wey Hill from the Tesco approach road to St Christopher's Green. • Entering the railway station, forecourt or ticket areas of the station, apart from with the intention and for the purpose of purchasing a valid ticket for travel on the the first available train or to return. • Loitering in and/or at Haslemere railway station. • Carrying alcohol in an either unopened or unsealed container in any public place except licensed premises in the town of Haslemere. • Associating with Tom Yeo in any public place in the town of Haslemere. • Entering any Tesco or Co-op property or Esso service station stores in the town of Haslemere. • Being in a group of three or more including himself in any public place in the town of Haslemere. His parents and their children when part of such a group are not included in the count. • Behaviour likely to cause harm, harrassment or distress to one or more persons not of the same household as himself in the town of Haslemere. • Urinating in a public place save a designated toilet. Copies of maps showing the exclusion zones are available from the town hall and the police station. If Scott Searle breaks any condition in his ASBO, the police can arrest him. The ASBO is valid for three years and expires on January 14, 2010. Haslemere's neighbourhood specialist officer Sergeant Bob Harris said: "We are delighted that the courts have supported this robust action by Surrey Police and South West Trains to keep our communities safe and feeling safe."
