Ash United came from two goals down to beat the muchvaunted AFC Wimbledon 3-2 in an exciting Bank Holiday fixture.
A crowd of 914 packed the small Ash ground and, after a goalless first half, Wimbledon took a 2-0 lead through Kevin Cooper whose second goal came from a penalty.
But Ash refused to give in and the turning-point came when Wimbledon had Keith Ward sent off for handling a shot from Tony Calvert. Paul Bonner converted the penalty.
On 84 minutes, Matt Everard headed the equaliser and, two minutes later, Ash got the winner. Scott Joyce flicked the ball on and Shaun Mitchell rode the goalkeeper's challenge before coolly placing the ball home.
Ash's triumph was only marred by a red card for Calvert after a second bookable offence.
l Ash beat Feltham 2-1 in the league on Saturday, their scorers being Calvert and Jamie Horton.
l Ash travel to Selsey on Saturday in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.
l Farnham Town were convincingly beaten 3-0 by Cobham in a Combined Counties League match at the Memorial Ground on Monday morning.
Farnham are away to Viking on Saturday and, on Tuesday, they travel to Cove.
