BRAMSHOTT and Liphook Parish Council has granted the wish of a late resident by allowing his ashes to be scattered in the River Wey at Radford Park.

Members of the recreation committee received the request from relatives, who also wanted to place a small plaque on Radford bridge – which reads “John loved it here” – which was also given permission.
