AUTHOR?Michelle Magorian took time out from penning novels to open officially the Cards for Good Causes shop in Petersfield.

Michelle, who wrote bestsellers Goodnight, Mr Tom and Just Henry, unveiled the charity card shop next to Lloyds Bank and The Square Brewery, off the town square.

The shop, which features greetings cards from more than 30 charities as well as a selection of Christmas gift ideas, will be open from 9.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am-3.30pm on Saturday until December 16.
