The show was held at the Church Centre, off Portsmouth Road.
Stalwart exhibitor Terry Burns made a welcome return with his giant leek and gladiolus, as well as five enormous carrots, winning first prize in their respective classes.
Relative newcomer John Gilbert did well winning three cups, including the Bob Bell Trophy for being the most successful exhibitor in the vegetable classes and the Vian Cup for his shallots.

Ann Haussauer had another successful show winning two cups and two medals, including the National Dahlia Society Silver Medal for her exhibit in the pompon dahlia class, while husband Ian won the Lady Skelhorn Trophy for his impressive Best in Show basket of vegetables.
Wendy Evans and Margaret Ilsley were delighted to retain the Floral Cup jointly for their stunning flower arrangements in the floral art classes. This year’s topics were Pretty in Pink and Gardeners’ Delight.
The Cookery Cup was won by Betty Holt who gained three firsts and one second, and her Mothering Buns were a delight.
In the children’s classes, Chloe Bicknell beat off stiff competition to win the Betty Coyte Trophy with her face mask, gingerbread men and vegetable creature.
Sixteen Rainbow Guides entered the face mask class and second prize was won by Grethe Olson.
Chairman Lesley Hollands provided home made cakes and refreshments for all exhibitors and visitors.
