THE pictures on social media showed how the strains of organising a 48-hour festival had taken their toll on Steve Jacob. But the co-organiser of the Petersfield Spring Festival only had to look around over the bank holiday weekend to know the effort was worth it. "It was a great weekend with an awesome team of friends, family and new friends," said the co-organiser of last weekend's festivities. "They were amazing and deserve a huge thank you from me and I hope everyone had an equally awesome time." Speak to Mr Jacob and his friend, Ben Errey, and you'll realise that "awesome" is a word that features quite heavily in their lexicon. But describing the Petersfield Spring Festival and its huge range of stalls, sights and sounds as anything less would be a disservice to the organisers.
