VOLUNTEERS made and sold cakes at Haslemere’s Orchard Club during the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, at the end of last month
And along with refreshments from the cafe and a bric-a-brac stall, around £317 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Hillary Owen, manager of the club, based at Haslewey Community Centre, in Wey Hill, said: “The volunteers who ran it worked really hard and it all went very well, particularly as it was our first for a while and it was organised at quite short notice.”
