ANOTHER tour de force of a panto was presented by the BAD (Beacon Hill Amateur Dramatics) company.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was sold out on all three performances.

With the traditional shouts of ’It’s behind you’ and ’Oh no they didn’t’, it was enjoyed by old and young alike from Beacon Hill, Hindhead and the surrounding area.

The panto cast and stage hands were from members of the Hindhead Royal British Legion club with direction by Sarah Bonham-Carter.

Proceeds went to the Hindhead club roof repair appeal.

Geoffrey Whitby, Haslemere town councillor and club member, said: "Playing host to numerous village events, the children’s Christmas party and the great Easter egg hunt, Hindhead Royal British Legion is the family-oriented club at the heart of the village of Beacon Hill.

"The newly-refurbished club is also the home of the legendary Beacon Hill beer and summer music festivals.

"A tennis court, superb bowling green, snooker table, children play area and a large, well-equipped hall give Beacon Hill residents and club members a great venue for a variety of events, including parties for all ages.

"A wide range of societies and groups make use of the hall, which is available for hire at very reasonable rates.

"Entertainment plays a large part in the club’s social calendar, from live music every month, bingo to quiz evenings and even the battle of the barbecues!

"Pop in for a drink and a chat and we will tell you how to become a member of this great local club."
