SEVERAL members of the Badshot Lea Wives Group (BLWG) made a visit to the Woodlarks Campsite, Tilford, on Monday, April 23.

During the visit, a cheque for £600 was presented to the Woodlarks Campsite Trust from the BLWG to help towards the invaluable work carried out at the centre.

The Woodlarks Campsite Trust is the BLWG’s chosen charity for 2018 and so the group were interested to see what is available at the local campsite for the disabled.

They were welcomed by Sarah, the camp secretary, and volunteer Aly who then guided the visitors around the beautiful grounds and extensive facilities, which include a modern swimming pool, changing area and sleeping quarters.

A fashion show fundraiser, hosted by the Edinburgh Woollen Mill shop, was also held in March.
