THE Blackmoor Estate opened its orchards to the public at the weekend for a Pick Up Your Own day.
And hundreds of people helped themselves to a variety of apples and pears from the orchards at the estate in Blackmoor, near Liss.
"The weather was kind to us and we sold a lot of apples," said estate manager William Wolmer.
"All round, it was a successful day with a lot of happy customers."
Mr Wolmer was busy this week putting everything in place for the 43rd annual Blackmoor apple-tasting day, which takes place on Sunday.
A wide range of apples and pears will tempt visitors, and experts will be on hand to identify mystery apples.
There will also be a craft fair, rural craft demonstrations, a hog roast, Morris dancing, and bouncy castles.
Entry is free and the apple tasting runs from 10am to 4.30pm.
