GLORIOUS sunshine, warm temperatures and a stunning sunset on the last day of British Summer Time provided the perfect setting for the 113th Liphook Carnival, which attracted a record 4,000 visitors to the village.
Carnival committee chairman Karen Feeney told The Herald: "I think the crowd in The Square was larger this time than in the last couple of years. Although we had fewer floats than we had hoped for, the quality of the ones that took part was brilliant.
