DADS have the chance to brush up their barbecuing skills at The Fox pub in The Bourne on Father’s Day.

Cornelius Veakins - the ‘dirty’ chef - will host two barbecue masterclasses at the Frensham Road pub this Sunday (June 18) at 12pm and 3pm.

Dads will be given a demonstration on how to trim and cook the meat, before taking over the tongs and cooking for the family.

The masterclass costs £17.50 for adults and £7.50 for children, including food for the whole family, plus a gift and drink for dad.

The Fox recently came under new ownership, and work on a brand new garden area is continuing.

Once complete, it will boast a new sunken trampoline and children’s play area, cabanas huts, as well as a riot of colourful flowers in support of Farnham’s Britain in Bloom entry.
