BORDON’S Prunce Philip Barracks was the venue for an Easter family fun day organised by the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company.

The sun enticed children and their parents to the event, at which they enjoyed Easter-themed activities, including the reading of the Easter story, an Easter egg hunt and the making of gardens full of spring flowers.

Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, which is developing the barracks, said: “We were pleased to see so many parents and children attend the day out and we couldn’t have asked for better weather.

“I want to thank Deacon Janet Heys who led the Easter egg hunt, story time and games.”

The Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company is holding a number of events this spring to encourage townsfolk to visit the barracks ahead of its development into a new town centre and housing.
