THE battle to get banking facilities back in Liss continues with both the parish council and the village design statement group pressing for action.

After an announcement that the Post Office intended to put cash machines (ATMs) into 3,000 of its premises, parish councillor Anne Coe wrote asking it to consider making Liss a candidate for an early installation.
