PROPOSALS to erect a 30-metre high telecommunications mast in Bourne have been met with anger by residents who are no strangers to campaigning against mobile masts.

The application has been submitted to Waverley Borough Council's Planning and Development Department by BT Cellnet who want to build the tower on land at Bounre Wood on a site off Tilford Road.
