THE Deadwater Valley Trust called in photographer Richard Ford to host the second in a series of photography workshops.

The June 4 event was well received and, with further workshops in the pipeline, town photographers have no excuse not to step out into the great outdoors this year.

Although he has sold a few pictures in his time, Mr Ford, who is from Whitehill and Bordon, said photography was “mostly a hobby” for him.

This week he shared pictures with the Bordon Herald and spoke of the unique sights available in his home town, from Woolmer Forest to Hogmoor Inclosure, from rare heathland habitats to historic landscapes. “It’s incredible what you can see on your doorstep,” he said.
