BRAMSHOTT and Liphook parish councillors have co-opted a new member following the resignation of Susan Hooper in April.

Charles-Michael Berry has lived with his family on the Berg Estate, off Midhurst Road, since 1995.

He is an associate member of the Institute of Directors and was a former chairman of council and a governor of Birkbeck College Student Union between 2013 and 2015, where he remains a trustee.

Mr Berry (pictured) is also a co-founder of Kappa Sigma Colony at the University of Houston, where he has carried out committee work, informational logistics and document control.

His professional background is in project control, especially in the field of multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and he has been involved in the consultancy of the Crossrail projects, authorising qualified documents to ensure a return for investors.
