CHILDREN at Liphook infant and junior schools ran a mile for Sport Relief, helping to raise money for charity projects in this country and abroad.
Throughout the day, children from each class across the junior and infant schools in The Avenue donned their PE kits and trainers and ran five laps of the school field.
And after school, parents were invited along to run a mile too.
Co-ordinated by infant school sports teacher Michelle Freeland and her junior school counterparts Harriet Bullard and Adrian Adams, it was an important day for children to take part in the national fundraising event, which set a record-breaking total of £51.2m during the live appeal on BBC television last Friday night.
