CARDIAC Rehab celebrated the 20th anniversary of the opening of its headquarters behind Alton Sports Centre.

The Ron Green Big Band played music by Glen Miller, and other stars of the 1930s, to great acclaim from the 200 music lovers who raised £1,900 for the centre when they crowded into Alton Assembly Rooms.

Centre manager Denise Ellis said: “We sold out of tickets and the evening, which was organised by Lesley Bethell, was a huge success and we served wine at the

interval.

“We do advocate a that glass of red wine is good for you!”
