AN iconic London double-decker Routemaster bus will make a special journey to Farnham on Saturday, June 18 - complete with a pop-up ballroom and its own dance-floor, DJ, MC, sound system and resident dance company to provide a big free party for the people of Farnham.

The Big Dance Bus aims to give new audiences the opportunity to discover a multitude of dance styles, from ballet to waltz via contemporary and tango, all on their doorstep and as part of an innovative experience.

Its visit to Farnham, between 12pm and 5pm on June 18 in the Maltings car park, has all been made possible thanks to the arrival of the Maltings’ newest resident company Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and Re:Bourne who will be giving a special performances introducing their unique style of narrative dance to Farnham.

Throughout the day, there will be free performances and workshops led by the Maltings’ resident dance companies New Adventures and Re:Bourne, The Dance Movement and Stopgap Dance Company.
