A HUGE turnout is expected for the bed push from Haslemere Hospital through the High Street to the Town Hall on Saturday, September 9 to highlight the widespread opposition to West Surrey Health Authority's plan to close the hospital's 29 beds.
The demonstration is being organised by the hospital's League of Friends in conjunction with town mayor Fay Foster and Haslemere Town Council. Those who wish to take part are asked to meet in the hospital car park at 11-30 am.
