THE Hedgehogs have received a cheque for £889 from The Fat Face Foundation.

Fat Face, through the recommendation of its Farnham store manager Marvin Rumary, chose the Hedgehogs as its nominated charity during its Thanks for Giving campaign.

Nationally, the campaign raised nearly £200,000 over the Black Friday weekend last November through Fat Face outlets across the UK.

Bob Hockey, chairman of the Hedgehogs, said: “The Hedgehogs are delighted that the local Fat Face store nominated our charity. The donation will be put to good use in support of the Hedgehogs as Farnham’s local charity.

“We have a regular number of requests from the community to assist with either specific projects or individual requests and we thank the Fat Face Foundation for its support.”
