THE chairman of the East Hampshire Disability Forum has voiced her concern about the rise in the Blue Badge disability charge.

Sue Williams has spoken out after an £8 rise.

Mrs Williams said: "Those on a fixed pension or a state pension could have trouble finding the extra money, especially with all the cuts already in disability care."

The Blue Badges allow disabled people to park on double-yellow lines and in allocated bays nearer their destination.

Users in Hampshire previously paid £2.
