SEVERAL students from the Petersfield area were among the top achievers at Bohunt School, Liphook.

Star pupil Alexander Fry, from Langrish, near Petersfield, who plans a career in engineering. achieved eight A*s, one A, one B and an A in additional maths.

He admitted the results were surprising and not expected. He said his five years at Bohunt had been really good and he is now looking forward to moving to Alton College, where he will take maths and physics plus a few other subjects.

Yasmine Seeward, from Liss Forest, who also achieved seven A*s, three As and additional maths at A grade, admitted to having a few positive and surprise results. She will be going to Godalming College to study chemistry, biology and geography and wants to become a vet.

Third place in Bohunt’s top achievers list was taken by James Cox, from Liss, who was delighted with his unexpectedly good results of seven A*s, three As, additional maths at C grade as well as a pass in his Pre-U French. James will be going to Alton College to study maths, physics and law and wants to become an airline pilot.

Samuel Jenner from Liss Forest, who achieved six A*s, four As, additional maths A grade and a merit in his Pre-U French, was not completely satisfied with his results since he expected to do better in English language.

He will be going to Alton College to study maths and essay subjects, leaving his career options open.

Molly Ayo, from Liss, hoped that she would do well after studying hard and achieved four A*s, sixAs, additional maths at A grade and a merit in her Pre-U French.

She will be studying maths, chemistry and biology at Alton College and plans to have a career in media.

Caspar Hird from Petersfield admitted that he did not expect to get such good grades with two A*s, eight As and a distinction in his Pre-U French exam.

Having enjoyed his time at Bohunt he will be heading to Godalming College to study French, his favourite subject after spending a lot of time in France, as well as geography, history and possibly biology.
