PETERSFIELD library could be a very different place in years to come – thanks to a new "five-year vision" unveiled by Hampshire County Council this week.
Responding to the changing lifestyles of people and making the best use of technology, the new-look library service will make access a priority, both on foot and through the Internet, persuade more people to become involved in the development of the library service, encourage volunteers to help out, and provide self-service checkouts.
