STAFF at Wey Valley Cats Protection were delighted to receive a cheque of £2,371, from Support Adoption for Pets’, Santa Paws Appeal.

“We would like to say a massive thank you to the staff and customers of Pets at Home Farnham store for their donations and contributions to this appeal,” said Farnham and Wey Valley Cats Protection volunteer Sue Millward.

“This is such a fantastic amount of money and will help us continue our work helping local needy cats and kittens.

“In addition to our fundraising to support our food and vets bills, we are intending to try to raise money for a new welfare vehicle.

“Our old one is starting to be unreliable and need costly maintenance. So this donation has been an enormous boost for us and the cats in our care.

“We will be back at Pets at Home on March 10, 11 and 12, for a fundraising weekend, our mascot ‘Paws’ will be there to say ‘hello’ and we will have some great prizes on offer, so please come along and see us then.”
