ALTON Bowls Club will host its annual open day on Sunday.

People are invited to come and try their hand and see if this is a sport that appeals to them. Flat shoes should be worn, but all other equipment will be available to borrow, with friendly club members on hand to show visitors the finer points of play.

The session in the Public Gardens starts at 2.30pm.
