THE sight of the Hampshire Hunt at their Boxing Day meet, riding through the countryside to the cheers of supporters, did not delight Bordon resident Tony Thorn, who labelled them "moronic".
In a letter to the Bordon Herald, he disputed a claim by the hunting fraternity that more than 300,000 people turned out to support them on Boxing Day. But he said: "Assuming the figure is correct, that news is cause for despair not self-congratulation and celebration.
