AN 18-year-old Liphook boy died when he was hit by a train as it passed through Liphook station on Good Friday.

Timothy Oldenbury was struck at 11-10 am by the Portsmouth to Liverpool train.

His body was taken to Basingstoke Hospital mortuary and an inquest will be held.
