THE Church of the Good Shepherd at Four Marks was the venue for a successful concert featuring the Alder Valley Brass Band.

Well-known music was played and some of the players performed solos.

During the evening a presentation of £577 was made to Woodlarks Trust, the charity the band supported during 2017.

Alder Valley Brass expressed grateful thanks to the Reverend Howard Wright and the wardens for allowing them to use the venue.

Thanks went to all those who turned out to support the concert, to the families and friends who helped on the night, and the shopkeepers who donated raffle prizes.
