A "BORING" consultation, which didn't spell out the consequences for the whole of Farnham, has been blamed for less than one per cent of households outside Rowledge responding to proposals for the village to go it alone.

Farnham councillors have complained that taxpayers were not told in the consultation how Rowledge divorcing from Farnham and setting up its own parish council could leave Farnham Town Council more than £50,000 worse off, affecting both services and tax bills.
